Foster Student Motivation and Success

Through a unique, camp-style format that captivates students, MathCamp reinforces the math priority standards that are critical for student success, ensuring that they are prepared to enter the coming academic year secure in their math abilities.

Build Math Resilience and Confidence

MathCamp is a five-week standards-driven summer program that you can easily extend to eight weeks or reduce to four. It's packed with print and digital resources to provide an engaging yet rigorous math experience.

Math Skills for Life

MathCamp's problem-based learning approach builds on what students know, deepening their conceptual knowledge and procedural fluency. Students create meaning by connecting math to their world. They strengthen their number sense and develop strategies to solve problems critically.

Robust Instruction. Real-Life Connections.

Based on the 7 Strengths Framework

MathCamp lessons are framed around seven key strengths that cultivate well-being and prepare students for challenges they will encounter.

Leader's Guide Lessons

20 lessons per grade (120 minutes each) include clearly stated objectives, vocabulary, key standards and skills, and opportunities to practice, collaborate, review, and reflect.

Differentiation

Each lesson includes Multilingual Learner and Range of Learner supports that provide tips for increasing access and challenge to meet diverse campers' needs.

Real-Life Connections

Math Hero Readers celebrate math heroes in the community whose jobs require math (K–2) and real-life people with careers based on mathematics (3–5).

Student Activity Sheets

Downloadable Student Activity Sheets and resources support mathematical learning
and fluency.

Math Literature

Engaging titles connect mathematical concepts and skills to literature, offering students another way to explore, strategize, and problem-solve.

Family Connection

Family Guides in English and Spanish support the home-to-school connection and provide the tools families that need to support their children's learning.
