CLSD federally funded grants help schools create comprehensive, evidence-based literacy programs for children from birth through Grade 12, with a focus on disadvantaged students. How can Scholastic help you?
How Can Your District Take Advantage of This Funding Opportunity?
In 2024, the U.S. Department of Education awarded over $190 million in discretionary grants to 22 states and the District of Columbia for the creation of local and fully inclusive literacy programs designed for children from birth through Grade 12.
Supporting Missouri Students and Educators
Missouri will convene a consortium of experts and learning coaches to build the capacity and talent of its educators. The state is investing its CLSD funding to deliver a comprehensive package of professional development programming, customized to serve up to 20 early childhood programs and up to 80 school and career and technical education settings.
